Kelli Minister of Kennewick was named queen of the Juneteenth Pageant on Saturday night at the Pasco High School auditorium. She was given a $3,000 scholarship. The first runner-up was Shanice Butts of Pasco. She received a $1,500 scholarship. The second runner-up was Shatarra DeVose of Pasco, who received $700; and the third runner-up wasShakira Pointer of Kennewick, who got $500.The Best Talent, highest grade-point average and Miss Congeniality awards went to DeVose. The Hostess Award (to the girl raising the most money for the pageant) went to Butts and Minister, who each raised more than $1,500 for the pageant.
